Camp McKean Park on Kitsap Lake
Lunch at 12:30 PM
Care and Fellowship Committee will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, condiments, desserts and table service. Coolers will also be provided. We're asking everyone to bring a salad and sodas to share (no glass bottles of any kind, only aluminum or plastic). Don't forget to bring your lawn chairs, swim suits, and sports equipment. A life guard will be on duty for the swimming area.
Rules for Camp McKean: There are row boats available at no charge. Minors under 18 years of age need someone 18 years of older to accompany them in the boats. A military ID needs to be shown in order to check out the boats or sports equipment. Care and Fellowship is asking everyone who has a military ID to please bring it. We are responsible for clean up which begins at 6:30 PM. We need to be out of camp by 7:30 PM
Directions to Camp McKean:
From Silverdale: Take Highway 3 South to Chico Way Exit. Turn right at stop sign and follow to NorthLake Way NW . Turn right on NorthLake Way NW. Stay on NorthLake Way NW to Kitsap Lake Drive. Turn right. Drive until you see the Camp McKean sign which will be on the left side of the road.
From Bremerton: Take Kitsap Way West follow to Kitsap Lake Drive. Turn left on Kitsap Lake Drive and drive until you see the Camp McKean sign which will be on th left side of the road
