2008 ANNUAL DAY AT THE PARK

What do you need to do?
- Show up
- Bring your own lawn chair
- Bring your own food, drink, and eating utensils plus one dish to share. At around 6PM, Care and Fellowship will provide fried chicken and we pool our food together for an outdoor potluck.
- Have fun in the park with your good friends.
Park Information:
Fort Flagler State Park is located 50 minutes from Silverdale at the tip of Marrowstone Island. Fort Flagler features a sandy beach, miles of walking/biking trails, camp store with espresso service, World War One era gun embankments, views of Mount Rainier, Mount Baker, and the Straits of Juan de Fuca and the sun setting over the Olympics. Directions:
Cross the Hood Canal Bridge and take an immediate right. Follow this road through Paradise Bay and into Port Ludlow. Turn right at the stop sign in Port Ludlow and drive for about 15 minutes until you see the sign for Indian Island. Turn right to Indian Island and in about one mile you will go over a bridge. Follow the road around Indian Island and on to Marrowstone Island. This road will eventually end at the entrance to the park. Once in the park, turn left at the stop sign. Skip the entrance station and then the road bends 90 degrees to the left. The entrance to the camping area is about two miles down the road on the right. Entrance is just after you pass the camp store. Total drive time from Silverdale is just under one hour.
